Lizbeth Rojas, a former Desert View Elementary
We want to start off the week by featuring another "Rising Star" on our website. Her name is Lizbeth Rojas, a former Desert View Elementary and Southwest Junior High School student. Upon graduating from San Luis High School, Ms. Rojas transferred to Arizona State University where she is currently working towards a B.S. in Supply Management, a B.A. in Business Law, a Minor in Spanish, a Certificate in International Business, and is expected to graduate this May!
As a student at San Luis High School, Lizbeth was involved in student council, the volleyball team, the soccer team, the National Honors Society, and graduated ranked #3 of her class. Ms. Rojas continued to excel at Arizona State University, where she's been on the ASU Dean's list, joined the multicultural sorority Kappa Delta Chi, studied abroad in Barcelona in the fall of 2019, and was a member of the executive board for the Hispanic Business Student Association for 2 semesters.
Lizbeth has worked as an intern at the Administration Department at San Luis City Hall in 2018 and as Summer Resident Assistant for the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth in San Rafael, California. She has also worked as a Supply Chain Intern for Frito-Lay in the summer of 2020, and as a New Product Planning Intern for ON Semiconductor where she is working at the moment. At this position for ON Semiconductor, Lizbeth has a responsibility to ensure that the adequate steps are taken before parts are released for production.
