Course Description
Here is the agenda for this week. I assigned reading, writing, and math activities. Math activities need to be turned in daily. For reading activities, you need to login to clever.com. Make sure you get a passing score of 75% or higher. You have till march 29 to complete all the activities. Make sure you upload the activities through class dojo, google chrome, or through this website. You an also send the class work through [email protected]. You can contact me through class dojo if you have any questions.
Reading
Students have to complete the following assignments from Achieve 3000.
1. Trying to Beat Malaria
2. World Problems: Wiping Out Malaria
3. Would You Get Sick for Science
* Login to clever.com, login as a student, and select Achieve 3000
Writing
Students need to use the Achieve 3000 articles to respond to an explanatory essay.
Type the essay and upload the document here, google chrome or class dojo.
Math
Monday: Day 1 Divide Fractions and Divide Whole Numbers
Tuesday: Day 2 Multiply, divide, add and subtract decimal numbers
Wednesday: Day 3 Read positive and negative coordinates and find coordinates in quadrant.
Thursday: Day 4 Determine, compare absolute values and use number line to find absolute value.
Friday: Day 5 Solve problems using order of operations.
Please, do one activity per day and send the work as soon as you finish doing it.
The writing essay and math activities need to be sent through google chrome, class dojo or upload them here.
